There will also be a V10 Lite, if Lite is adequate for what you want to do. If you buy V9 Resolve, V10 is a free upgrade.

Lion should work if you don't have AMD/ATI GPU cards. 16GB ram 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 AMD Radeon HD 6770M 1024 MB Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB And running: High Sierra 10.13.6 I don't really care about what is previously on the old 12.5 version. You also should use OSX 10.8.4 for best results. You'll want to enable the optimized display mode and 8 bit monitoring modes in Project Settings / Master Project Settings / Video Monitoring for best results. But certainly try it on your system and see what results you get. But V10 has new things that are GPU intensive that will probably be very slow on the 3,1 MacPro.Īll that being said, the general performance of Resolve on a 3,1 MacPro is that is can barely play back an HD ProRes clip at 24 FPS, and only with a couple of nodes of basic correction. If that level of performance is adequate for you, V10 will likely not be much worse for similar color correction types. Once you put V9 on your system, you will see how poor the MacPro 3,1 performance is with Resolve. Just don't expect it to work any better than V9. We probably won't test it on that platform, but I'm sure people will try it.
